St. Antony’s Mission Educational Institutions was founded in the year 1988 with the commitment of providing excellent educational programs at the highest standards. The Institution focuses on imparting education through application-based study wherein theoretical concepts of a field are not studied independently but are subordinated to the understanding of techno-operational aspects of a specific job by which the students acquire skills which is totally related to specific trade, occupation or vocation.

We aim to prepare learner to reach their aim of career with full potential and excellent credits by imparting quality education and skill training in different fields and skills of the learner. A good education gives the path of career through which they can discover success in their skills and enjoy a wide range of interest. Our institution aspires to value everyone associated with it, irrespective of age, position, race, gender, background or ability. The programs offered by the institution are by both formal as well as in formal through recognized boards & Universities under MHRD Govt of India. The programs are designed keeping in mind the changing times and the emerging needs of the various learners and their individual capability to extend their growth in skill and knowledge for the human development and the development of the society. We endeavor to motivate, support and inspire personal, spiritual, emotional and educational growth in a safe and secured environment individual for all rounds development.

To serve these purposes there are several units which functions under the Mission which are recognized by State and Central Government regulatory authorities. Each unit is aimed to impart various types and trades of training as per the interest of the pupils.

The infrastructure of all the centre’s of St. Antony’s Mission are well Maintained and well furnished with all facilities like teaching aids, Wi-fi connection, Air-conditioner, Computers, Lap-top, library, Multimedia and all Audio, Video Facilities.

The terms open learning and distance education represents approaches that focus on opening access to education and training provision, freeing learners from the constraints of time and place, and offering flexible learning opportunities to individuals and groups of learners. Open and distance learning is one of the most rapidly growing fields of education, and its potential impact on all education delivery systems has been greatly accentuated through the development of Internet-based information technologies, and in particular the World Wide Web.

St. Antony’s Mission Educational Institutions as a force contributing to social and economic development understand that open and distance learning is one of the most rapidly growing fields of education and training. It is fast becoming an accepted and indispensable part of the mainstream of educational systems in both developed and developing countries, with particular importance for the latter. This growth has been stimulated in part by interest among educators and trainers in the use of new, Internet-based information technologies, but also by recognition that traditional ways of organizing education need to be reinforced by innovative methods if the fundamental right of all people to a life of learning is to be realized

One innovation in particular, that is the expansion of the World Wide Web, coupled with a continued fall in the cost of processing, storing and transmitting information, has contributed to significant shifts in how distance education is perceived by educators and how it is designed, delivered and administered.

It is widely acknowledged that in the past years we have had intense development of distance education experiences giving birth to a surprising change of vision and rhetoric to express the hopes and promises attached to concepts of modern technologies.
